Cardiff by the Sea

We had a lot of fun with this space, who doesn’t love a blank canvas and an open-minded client. Not only was she lovely and open-minded she is an extremely hard-working nurse. We were more than happy to come in and create a bright and calm space she could relax and decompress in at the end of the day. We approached each room focusing on small details, the living room had an amazing skylight above the main living area which brought in bright natural light. We used this to our advantage by adding light colored pieces and mirrors as well as small pops of color using pillows, wall baskets, and plants. In the dining area, we filled a bookcase with hand-picked thrifted items paying special attention to each shelf. In the master bedroom and patio space, we added lighting fixtures, light-colored fabrics, and touches of warmth with pillows and warm-toned books.
